Terms & Conditions

Sophia Mya Cupcakes

 

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully.  By accepting our quote you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

Deposits, Cancellations and Changes to quotes

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking within 5 days of accepted quotes.

Orders will not be commenced until a deposit has been paid.

Your date will be held at the time of your booking for 5 days only without a payment.

If a deposit has not been received within the 5-day time frame the booking may be cancelled and your date may be unavailable.

The balance must be paid in full no later than 1 week before your order is required.

Method of payment is via bank transfer or cash as agreed.  Please note I do not have eftpos facilities and I do not accept cheques.

In an event of a cancellation due to unforseen circumstances, an admin fee of 20% of your total booking will be withheld if it cannot be rescheduled within 2 weeks of the date your order is required.

If a cancellation is made less than 2 weeks to the agreed completion date, you will forfeit your deposit.

Should there be a change in design or flavor after the initial accepted quote, and deposit has been made, I reserve the right to amend the quote accordingly to reflect changes required where applicable.

 

Allergies

Sophia Mya Cupcakes will not be held responsible for any allergies.  My products contain or come in contact with dairy, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens.  It is the customer’s responsibility to inform their guests of any risks.

 

Storage

Where cupcakes are covered in fondant, these should not be refrigerated as this may cause the fondant to run due to condensation.

Storage of these items should be in a dark, cool place out of direct sunlight and away from heat.

Cookies should not be refrigerated.  Keep in a dark, cool place out of direct sunlight and away from heat.

Cake pops have a fragile chocolate shell.  If possible, keep refrigerated until day of party; otherwise a dark, cool place out of direct sunlight and away from heat is acceptable.

To get the most enjoyment out of your cupcakes if refrigeration is required, keep refrigerated until 30 minutes before serving/eating.  Cupcakes are best consumed at room temperature.  Consume within 2 days of purchase.

 

Non-Guarantee

Sophia Mya Cupcakes cannot be held responsible for any damage to the cupcakes, cake pops, cookies or other products once they are picked up by the customer or delivered and in the care of the customer or venue.

 

Photo Usage

Sophia Mya Cupcakes reserve the right to use any photos we take of your creation for media related activities such as but not limited to our website, Facebook, Instagram or advertising.

By placing your order you agree to the terms and conditions set out above.

 

Changes to our terms and conditions

Sophia Mya Cupcakes may change their terms and conditions at any time which become effective once published on our website.  It is the customers responsibility to read our terms and conditions before ordering and review our terms and conditions periodically to be aware of any changes.
